Dawn joined AAKC in 2022 and serves as the Director of Human Resources. She has over 25 years of human resources experience, having served as the HR leader for various industries, including medical education, multi-specialty clinic, behavioral health, hearing conservation, and finance. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, with a minor in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. Additionally, she holds the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. She is a member of SHRM, SHRM-KC, and EPN.
